Contact and account information: name, email address, company name, role, and location — collected through our intake questionnaire, contact form, or direct communication.
Service information: details about your work, your team, your tools, and your support needs — provided through our questionnaire or during sync calls.
Payment information: billing details processed through our payment provider. Tandem does not store card numbers directly.
Communications: emails, messages, and notes from calls with our team.

2.2 Information we collect automatically

Usage data: pages visited, time on site, referral source, and browser type — collected via standard analytics tools.
Cookies: we use essential cookies to keep the site functioning and analytics cookies to understand how people use the site. You can manage cookie preferences in your browser settings.

2.3 Information about EA applicants

If you apply to become a Tandem EA, we collect application information including your work history, skills, assessment results, and contact details. This information is used solely for the purpose of evaluating your application and, if successful, managing your engagement.

Communicate with you about your account, your EA, and our services

We do not sell your personal information. We do not use your information for advertising purposes.

4. Who we share your information with

We share information only where necessary:

Your Tandem EA: relevant context about your work, preferences, and needs is shared with your matched EA so they can do their job.
Tandem team leads: internal team members who manage EA performance and client relationships.
Service providers: tools we use to operate the business (payment processors, scheduling tools, email platforms). These providers process data on our behalf and are required to protect it.
Legal and regulatory: if required by law, we may disclose information to comply with legal obligations.

We do not share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes.

5. How long we keep your information

Active clients: we retain your information for the duration of your engagement and for 12 months after it ends.
Prospective clients: if you complete our questionnaire but do not proceed, we retain your information for 6 months.
EA applicants: application data is retained for 12 months whether or not an offer is made.
Legal obligations: some records may be retained longer where required by applicable law.

Depending on where you are located, you may have the right to:

Access the personal information we hold about you
Correct inaccurate or incomplete information
Delete your information, subject to legal retention requirements
